Underwriting process
Once the application is submitted and assigned to an underwriter, they will assess all of the information that you have provided. It is their job to make sure that any information that could potentially be a risk is looked into and a full understanding of the situation is obtained.
Depending on the information provided in an application, the underwriting process can take some time. It is important to keep in mind that while this can be time consuming, the underwriter is working to get the best result possible for your specific needs.
